Do you want to help change the lives of women?


We welcome enquiries from potential staff or volunteers for our specialist female-only supported accomodation service. The service is already providing life-changing person-centred support through purpose-built supported housing. We have a small team which is instrumental in the delivery of the service. TK offers a rare opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art service.

We currently have the following vacancies:


Full time Position 37.50 Hours a week – Position requires applicant to work 5 out of 7 days on a rolling basis which will include working one weekend every 3 weeks.


Talitha Koum is an Independent Charitable Organisation based on Christian Values and Ethos.  We operate from The Hope Centre, Witnesham, providing temporary Supported Housing for women in need of accommodation and the opportunity to address personal issues and difficulties.  Staff work alongside each resident as they make informed choices about their future, take up educational, social, or vocational opportunities and participate in activities at the Hope Centre or in the community with direction and guidance.

These vacancies offer an employment opportunity for applicants who respect others from all backgrounds and situations, who can remain focused, adhere to the practice principles, and add valuable commitment to the existing professional workforce. 


This post is suitable for women* with demonstratable experience in providing professional support in the field of Health & Social Care / Housing / Support Work or similar face to face support.


Salary £25,242 per annum.  Please note this rate includes Weekly On-Call Duties, shared over a 7 day period on a rota basis.

Unpaid, Part Time, Based in Witnesham (near Ipswich)

Can you spare a few hours per month to provide support at The Hope Centre? Various roles are available for volunteers to help with the regular activities on site and to share meals. Full training and support are provided. For more information please contact us on 01473 354200 or Volunteers must be over 18. 


We are looking for experienced people who share our vision of TK to become trustees. We have seven trustees who normally meet six times a year, though there are intermediate discussions. In particular, we are looking for people who have skills or experience in the following areas:

·       working with vulnerable adults or young people

·       the wider care sector

·       Pastoral care or counselling

·       PR & Communications
