We welcome enquiries from potential staff or volunteers for our specialist female-only supported accomodation service. The service is already providing life-changing person-centred support through purpose-built supported housing. We have a small team which is instrumental in the delivery of the service. TK offers a rare opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art service.

We currently have the following vacancies:

Support Worker (full-time)

Full time Position 37.50 Hours a week.   09.00 - 17.00 Monday – Friday.

Salary £19,166 (£9.80 an hour) plus Employee Assistance Programme plus Pension Scheme.

 

We are seeking to appoint a full time female support worker* to join the staff team here at the Hope Centre. This vacancy offers a great opportunity for applicants with a heart for frontline work, and those who respect people from all backgrounds.  The right person will need to be flexible yet remain focused, be able to communicate well and follow TK practice principles, show commitment to working with the existing team and contribute to the aims of the organisation, which is to support women who are vulnerable because of their life experiences.

 

This post is suitable for women* with demonstrable experience in providing support in the field of Health & Social Care / Housing / Support Work or similar face to face support and experience in professional and/or personal roles.

Support Worker (part-time)

Part-time position 10.00 Hours a week.  £9.80 an hour plus Employee Assistance Programme plus Pension Scheme.

Working times to be agreed with the successful candidate 2 x 4-hour sessions on weekdays and 2 hours on a Saturday morning.

Volunteers 

Unpaid, Part Time, Based in Witnesham (near Ipswich)

Can you spare a few hours per month to provide support at The Hope Centre? Various roles are available for volunteers to help with the regular activities on site and to share meals. Trustees

We are looking for experienced people who share our vision of TK to become trustees. We have seven trustees who normally meet six times a year, though there are intermediate discussions. In particular, we are looking for people who have skills or experience in the following areas:

·       working with vulnerable adults or young people

·       the wider care sector

·       pastoral care or counselling

·       finance, human resources or law
