Admissions

The TK Hope Centre
Admissions Process

If you or someone you know would like to learn more about our supported housing service please call our specialist team on 01473 852050 for a confidential conversation. They will be happy to discuss the options available and, if appropriate, take some details and begin the assessment process.

Let us know if you would like to visit The Hope Centre before deciding if it may meet your needs. Visits are strictly by prior appointment only, and subject to certain rules and procedures.

Residents may be eligible for Housing Benefit or Universal Credit to cover some or all of their rent in TK supported accommodation which is categorised as “Specified accommodation”. Under this catgory, some of the rules that normally limit the amount of rent covered by a housing benefit award do not apply.

Pre-admission and Arrival

If you decide to proceed, our accomodation manager will work through the pre-admission assessment procedure to ensure we are able to meet your needs, and to ensure you'll get the most from your stay.

If the Hope Centre is suitable for your needs, and if accomodation is avilable, then admissions can be quickly arranged for any day of the week. On the day of arrival we can arrange transport to the Hope Centre from the Ipswich area.

We operate an abstinence-based policy at the Hope Centre and residents are not allowed to bring alcohol or prohibited substances on site. Upon arrival you will be shown around the Hope Centre and to your own en-suite bedroom. In your bedroom you'll find your Welcome Pack containing toiletries and other useful items. You’ll then be introduced to the other residents and helped to settle into the routine of the TK Community.
